I'm having a problem with my computer. How do I know you'll be able to fix it?
I am a Microsoft Certified Professional with over 25 years experience
providing technical support to people with a wide variety of needs and
problems in both corporate and residential environments. Why take a chance when you can have a professional on your
side?
I have a (Dell, Gateway, HP or another) brand computer, do you work on those?
I have experience with all the major brands of PC's on the market, as
well as "Mom & Pop" or "home made" PC's. (I build my own, too)
What operating systems can you fix?
Supported operating systems are Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/Me/2000/XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 (all workstation styled products), and Microsoft Windows Server versions NT4, 2000, 2003, 2008, and 2012.
I'm just a home user with what seems like a small problem, but it won't
go away. Can you help me without it costing me an arm and a leg?
My experience can benefit home users just as much as my corporate
customers, and I offer my residential customers a preferred rate.
I have a network with a Microsoft Windows NT/2000//2003/2008/2012 server...can you handle server issues?
I have been working with servers for over 15 years and have expertise
from Windows NT Server 3.51 through Windows 2012 Server, and older NetWare Servers as
well.
Can you fix my broken hardware?
It depends. If the hardware is not working because of a software
problem (such as a corrupted driver), it can most likely be fixed.
Hardware that is physically damaged, however, must usually be replaced. Which leads us to...
Can you replace my broken hardware for me?
Yes, your hardware can be replaced at competitive prices. Once failing
hardware has been diagnosed and the type identified, the hardware can
usually be replaced depending on the availability of the needed part(s).
Can you install the new hardware (DVD-RW drive, modem, hard drive, etc.) I just bought?
Yes! Performing installations of new hardware is routine. In some cases
compatibility can be a problem, though, so be sure you have the right
stuff. If you're not sure, call me and I'll be happy to advise you as
much as possible.
I live outside of Austin. Will you still come to my home or office to fix my problem?
Yes! For my customers outside the city limits, service is still
available with an added drive time charge. Drive time is charged at the
same hourly rate, in 15-minute increments.
